Keeping it close in Tower Control (9-10, Tri-slosher)

5th November 2016 – 7.00 pm

Tower Control on Urchin Underpass and Blackbelly Skatepark. I opt for the Tri-slosher, even though I know I wanted to stick with the Splatterscope until I drop out of S Rank. I suppose I mostly don't want to think I'm bad with weapons I normally enjoy. But on these maps I think I almost need the Tri-slosher not to feel bad by default.

It's a good, positive start to the battle as well! My Tri-slosher bags me a couple of splats, and I'm feeling good. And my nemesis appears, with his own Tri-slosher. I pretty much assume he'll be better than me, but I can just as much avoid an inkling in a Splatoon battle as I can pick one out. I'll just have to see how it plays out.

Splatting the Dynamo Roller on her wind-up was satisfying. Being too late the next time is normal and nothing to get upset about.

I try to use the Tri-slosher to its advantage, looking for higher ground, or throwing the Disruptor to slow down the other inklings. And I try to keep mobile, staying out of trouble when I can and going around the other team if possible. I think I do okay.

The battle remains really tight throughout normal time, and it looks good for a victory for us. We just need to reclaim the tower in extra time. We've done it so far, it shouldn't be difficult now.
