Causing disruption in Splat Zones (15-8, Tri-slosher)

12th February 2017 – 7.00 am

Splat Zones with Museum d'Alfonsino. My Tri-slosher should be okay here, both for sloshing from below, from above, and for skirmishing beyond the Splat Zones, which is what I enjoy the most.

My first attempt stops abruptly, but that's only to be expected at the start of the battle. My second goes rather well, particularly considering the opponents watching me cross the gap.

I decide to loiter here for a bit, as this side of the map takes a bit of getting to, and some risk. Of course, staying here has some associated risks, and I tend to ignore the Splat Zones, but if I can keep some opponents occupied for a bit, hopefully my squidmates will be under less pressure to ink the Zones.

I move down when I spy a suitable splat, which I get nicely, and turn right back around. Nice! I apply a bit more pressure, with some help from a timely Bubble, before getting sent back to the base.

Ooh, so close with that jump! I thought I could make it. In fact, the middle part of this battle could be mostly ignored as mostly throwing myself in to poor situations, albeit with a few splats of my own.

But with under a minute to go, I find my feet again, bridging the gap to surprise the two chargers, and continue behind-the-lines to cause more disruption and help keep the Splat Zones ours in extra time. I like to think I helped a bit.
