The battle mode changes, as do the maps, and with Port Mackerel and Camp Triggerfish available for Rainmaker I go back to the Splatterscope. Those lovely long corridors should suit the charger well.
Nope, not really. Well, not in my tentacles. This is actually a pretty poor battle for me, getting splatted left and right, floundering in the wrong ink, and just being a bit average.
It's no surprise that the other team take a commanding lead, and look keen to press for the knockout at every opportunity. They really have us over a barrel.
Given that we struggle to get far out of our base, and the Rainmaker anywhere that isn't our podium, it is so much more of a surprise when we break through the other team's line and get the Rainmaker up in their end of the port. We even look like taking the lead!
We don't take the lead, though, only match the opposition's, which then ticks back to being one away. That's not to take anything away from the amazing effort and determination to get the Rainmaker there in the first place!
Also, we're not quite finished, it seems. There is some time left in the battle, and we now have the wind in our sails. Can we? Will we? Woomy!
