Charging to victory in Splat Zones

5th May 2016 – 5.05 pm

I'm not sure if this is a good game or not. One splat, once being splat, not greats stats, but I help keep the turf in the Splat Zones inked. That's the goal, right?

That's all rather brief. Let's have a second battle: Pushed back in Tower Control

Sticking with the Dual Squelcher for the moment [this video may be out of play order], and being aware to use its range to good effect. I still have a habit of running forwards when engaging, which pushes me precariously in to Luna Blaster bubbles. But I also use the range of the Dual Squelcher to my benefit, both when pushing the opponents back and as suppressing ink when riding the tower.

We get a fairly good opening lead in this Tower Control battle. Bluefin Depot is difficult to get too far, with the tower moving right past the opponents' base, so I think we're in a good position. All we have to do, if we can't get the tower any further, is stop the other side from getting too close. Should be easy with long-range weapons against short-range.

If only.
