Sometimes you want to ride the tower. Sometimes you just want to disrupt your opponents, so that someone else can ride the tower.
This is one of those battles where my squidmates are happy to ride the tower, and the Blackbelly Skatepark map allows me to completely outflank the other team.

That Custom Hydra Splattling is quite a threat in the right suction cups. I like to think my Tri-slosher is too, but maybe not always in my tentacles.
The normal tussle at the start of the battle does their way before we're able to assert our presence on the tower. And ...

After seeing that I can make the Tri-slosher work on Camp Triggerfish Tower Control, I'm going to keep on using it.
Spurred on by my previous success, albeit with some less succesful games in-between, I take a more pro-active tactic of preventing the enemy from controlling the tower, by splatting them ...

Camp Triggerfish is not a great level for the Tri-slosher. But the other map is, Blackbelly Skatepark, and Tower Control is a good mode in general for the Tri-slosher, so I'm ready to have buckets of fun.
Riding the tower is always fun. So is getting a triple-splat, closely followed by ...

I vie for control of the tower at the start of the battle, wrest it out of two purple inklings suction cups, and do my best not to let go.
Ink management is not my strong point, it seems. Neither is noticing purple inklings behind the tower when I'm trying to ...

I try a new route to the Splat Zones in this battle. It looks pretty good, when I can make the jump. Otherwise, I am sticking to my tactic of crossing the middle and being a pest.
That massive rotating display is great for hiding and evading. Well, for me it ...

I'm having a lot of fun with the Splattershot Jr in Splat Zones on Museum d'Alfonsino. It's a versatile weapon with plenty of mobility, and the Bubbler really helps get me out of a sticky spot.
Case in point, jumping headlong in to a Killer Wail ought to teach me a ...

Splat Zones is more than controlling the Splat Zones. If you can control the turf beyond the Splat Zones, you prevent the opposition from getting close to the objective.
Of course, first you have to secure the Splat Zones yourself, and if it were that easy, everyone would do it.
Museum d'Alfonsino ...

Uh-oh, does that E-litre 3K want my normal perch? Probably, as it's a good place for a charger. I get there first, though, and thankfully put in a good show for myself, splatting the first three squids that come over the top of the ridge.
The E-litre, on the other hand, ...

Two chargers on our team, two on their team. That generally means I need to shake up my tactics, mostly to prevent the two of us stumbling over each other's tentacles.
I try to be a bit more mobile in this game, a tactic that often doesn't work with a charger, ...
