I'm having a rough session in Tower Control tonight. I swap away from the Splatterscope to the Tri-slosher, just hoping to be more useful. Or, at least, more direct. All that really happens is that I get hunted by an N-ZAP, and not for the first time this evening. Maybe ...

Let's take the battle to the opposition! I'm not sitting on that tower in the middle of Moray Towers whilst an E-litre 3K hovers over me. I'm not even going to sneak up on him the normal way. I'm going the long way around.
It kinda works. A fellow inkling makes ...

Moray Towers is one of the maps, which means I want to give my Splatterscope an outing. It's a positive start, with an early splat a bit too typical of a cheesy charger, but the situation goes downhill quickly, as it only can do on Moray Towers.
The opposite team makes ...

The plan to concentrate on the E-litre 3K worked so well in the previous battle (in a way) that I have the same plan in this battle.
A good E-litre really can disrupt a Rainmaker battle, but so can being distracted by trying to splat an E-litre 3K, as I demonstrate.
The ...

There's an E-litre 3K on the other team. That could pose a problem for us if he sets up on the standard Flounder Heights perch.
My plan is to flush him out and give my squidmates a chance to get the Rainmaker anywhere near the goal.
I think my plan works. Sure, ...

The Splatterscope isn't working out too well for me in the other map, Flounders Heights, so I sawp to the Tr-slosher, which should work better there. Of course, Moray Towers still pops up, but there are lots of heights to rain ink down from too.
What a nifty start to the ...

No E-litre 3K opposing me on Moray Towers this battle. But does that just put more pressure on me to keep the opposition splatted? Probably, at least to me. Such a shame, then, that I keep missing my shots, before getting blindsided by a Roller of all weapons.
Thankfully, I'm not ...

Moray Towers! That means I want my Splatterscope, and other inklings will want their chargers too. Surprisingly, only one other charger is in the battle, but she's holding an E-litre 3K. I'll be out-ranged easily, so I have to be smart. That's me buggered.
Still, the first splat is mutual, which ...

The gear balance update is here, so it's time to put on some shades for the last-ditch effort. I reckon the other team will nearly always have their counter below 30, so I'll get some good use out of them.
The new Bomb Sniffer effect seems good too. I liked the ...

I'm sticking with the Tri-slosher. I've used it before mostly for riding the tower and raining ink down from there. But recently I've used it to be more aggressive in distracting and splatting the opposition, to mixed effect. I like it as a weapon, though, which is the main thing.
I ...
